Cookie Policy

Overview
buiild uses a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to make password-protected creator pages work. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell or share cookie data with ad networks.
Cookies we use
Session cookie: keeps you signed in to your buiild account between visits. Set when you log in; removed when you log out or it expires.
CSRF protection cookie: a security token our authentication provider (Auth.js) sets to prevent cross-site request forgery on sign-in and account actions.
Page-unlock cookie: if a creator has password-protected their page, we set a signed cookie (named lp_unlock_{username}) once a visitor enters the correct password, so they aren't asked again on every visit to that page.
What we don't use
We don't run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other third-party advertising or analytics script that tracks visitors across sites. The link-click and page-view analytics shown on a creator's dashboard are recorded server-side against the link or page itself when a visitor interacts with it — not through a tracking cookie in your browser.
Managing cookies
Because our cookies are functional (sign-in and page-unlock), turning them off in your browser will sign you out or ask you to re-enter a page password more often, but won't break anything else. Most browsers let you clear or block cookies from their settings.
